Title Soul Reaper
Type Necromancer

Gazul is a hero in Art of Conquest. Some say Gazul was once a king, while others speculate that he was a dark magician. Gazul himself cannot remember, for his soul was consumed by the void.

Gazul is much like Avalon in the sense that he is a support hero. Where Avalon supports living armies Gazul buffs the undead. Besides his support auras Gazul has a very powerful ability which is Sacrifice, which summons a giant bone golem. This golem is very powerful if used properly and is critical in your defense against lich players who mass spiders.

Building Gazul[ | ]

One point into Resurrect so you can raise corpses and have some skeletons to sacrifice for Gazul’s Skeleton Sacrifice ability. Max Skeleton Sacrifice, Max soulless scourge. If you play all mech units or as lich max Fear Aura.

Fear Aura is underappreciated. During battles against humanoid enemies, it can cause them to run away after a couple of blows. Coupling this ability with any of the items which provide a bonus to the army's morale and the enemy is surely to be the one to run away first, thereby increasing your own morale. It's a vicious cycle which can effectively allow you to reduce losses against common troops and avoid having to go to the hospital as much when you yourself are using humanoids. This should be the go to ability to increase, unless you plan to fight against Lichs and Mechs soon. Then again, if fighting against those units you won't be able to use Resurrect either...

If you want an ability you can use regardless of the type of enemy, Gazul only offers Soulless Scourge, though early points into it might prove expensive for the player.

Equipping Gazul[ | ]

Same as Vega, max his magic stat and get the +1 to skeleton sacrifice item, that’s all. Refer to Avril item setup for an idea of what items to equip.
