Lich's range units

Lich's range units consist of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks. They have very high damage output but have very short ranged compared to other ranged units such as the archer, unless on the garrison wall, where they have (as any unit on the wall) unlimited range. Their high damage and the fact that they are easy to replace (they share most of the lich's melee units properties on the subject) means they are a good choice to attack walls, specially if their Undead trait is taken into consideration (Undead units excel at plundering resources when attacking city walls). They can be buffed by Gazul’s passives and other heroes have abilities/passives that synergies with them.

Undead Unit Undead units are not affected by morale. When defeated, they cannot fall injured, but once you have built a Hospital, defeated Undead garrison troops have a chance of being resurrected. Undead units are avaricious by nature, and they excel at plundering resources when attacking city walls. All
Light Armor This Unit receive massive damage from enemy troops. All
Vengeful Spirit Upon dying, curse the nearest enemy unit, preventing it from attacking and moving. Does not affect Massive units. Silver & Gold
Gloomy Burial Upon dying, diminish the morale of nearby enemy troops. Gold

Upgrades[edit | edit source]

The ability of upgrading Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks is unlocked at academy level 1

1 Fitness Training 5 Increases the health of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by X per level. Occultist Allows you to summon Occultists.
2 Combat Training 5 Increases the attack rating of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by X per level. Vengeful Rage A damage effect is applied to the Vengeful Spirit ability of Occultists and Warlocks.
3 Garrison Attack Training 10 Increases the attack rating of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 2% per level when they are manning the wall on garrison duty. Advanced Agility Training Increases the attack speed of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 10%.
4 Basic Fitness Training 10 Increases the health of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level. Warlock Allows you to summon Warlocks.
5 Building Expertise 15 Reduces the summoning time of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level. Tenacity Increases the resurrections rate of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 10% when they are on garrison duty at lich strongholds.
6 Advanced Fitness Training 15 Increases the health of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level. Putrefaction A Poison Damage effect is applied to the Gloomy Burial ability of Warlocks.
7 Garrison Training 20 Increases the attack rating and health of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level when they are on garrison duty. Field Training: Desert Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks receive a 20% bonus to their attack power and health on desert battlefields.
8 Training Discipline 20 Reduces the basic resources needed to train Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level. Brutal Efficiency Reduces the rare resources needed to train Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 20%.
9 Elite Combat Training 25 Increases the attack rating of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level. Weapon Research Equips Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks with superior staves, increasing their attack rating by 20%.
10 Building Mastery 25 Reduces the summoning time of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level. Advanced Tenacity Increases the resurrections rate of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 10% when they are on garrison duty at lich strongholds.
11 Advanced Magical Reach 30 Increases the attack range of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 0.1 per level. Elite Agility Training Increases the attack speed of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 20%.
12 Elite Fitness Training 30 Increases the health of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 1% per level. Regroup Increases the maximum group size of Acolytes, Occultists, and Warlocks by 3 (when not on garrison duty).
