He is a melee hero which supports his army by means of passive Aura buffs. These buffs add health to all humanoid units and Damage to Archers, he also can provide Attack speed to all units around him. This makes Avalon a very good hero to have if you plan on playing as Human. Although Avalon is a melee fighter this does not make him a front line combatant. His title is General and should be treated as such he does well sitting in the middle of the army providing his buffs to as many units as he can. Have the army protect him and he will surely accomplish many great feats for you in your conquests.

|Arrow Volley||Free||Avalon targets a volley of 80 flaming arrows on the battlefield. Enemies struck take 15 / 33 / 60 / 96 / 141 / 195 / 258 / 330 / 411 points of Burning Damage. Damage dealt is increased by Might.|
|Summon Archers||1 Energy||Avalon summons a group of Archers / Longbowmen / Feathershots behind him to assist in battle for 30 seconds. The overall Power of the summoned Archers / Longbowmen / Feathershots cannot exceed 120 / 250 / 450 / 700 / 1050 / 1500 / 2000 / 2500 / X. Command increases the power of the Archers / Longbowmen / Feathershots summoned, and the level of your Stronghold increases their level.|
|War Horn||Passive||When he takes the battlefield, Avalon blows his War Horn, increasing the attack speed of nearby allies by 6 / 12 / 20 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 80 / 100 / 120% for 8 seconds. Command increases attack speed.|
|Archer Mastery||Passive||Avalon is skilled at leading archers into battle. When he is on the battlefield, all allied Archers, Longbowmen, and Featherbows have their damage and health increased by 2 / 4 / 7 / 10 / 14 / 19 / 25 / 32 / 39%. Command increases attack and max health.|
|Ardent Aura||Passive||Avalon leads an extremely disciplined army. When he is on the battlefield, all allied humanoid units have their max health increased by 2 / 4 / 7 / 10 / 14 / 19 / 25 / 32 / 39%. Command increases max health.|
|Natural Leader||Passive||As Prince of the Silverwings, Avalon is beloved by his troops. They are heartened when he takes the field, allowing him to deploy 1 additional troop. Also increases your Bronze supply cap by +1 troops / 40 / 80 / 120 / 160, which in turn raises your Silver and Gold supply caps.|
Note: Upgrading Summon Archers to level 4 allows you to summon Longbowmen, and upgrading it to level 8 allows you to summon Feathershots.
Note: Troops that die from Burning Damage will explode.
Tips and Tricks when using Avalon[edit | edit source]
Arrow Volley[edit | edit source]
Arrow Volley is a tap target AoE (area of effect) spell that deals a fair amount of damage to enemy units in that area. This spell is great for killing important targets like priests or archers in the back lines.
Summon Archers[edit | edit source]
This ability does exactly what it says it says. It summons archers. This ability is great for reinforcing a wing of your army. Adding an extra legion or two of archers anywhere will really turn the tide of the battle.
War Horn[edit | edit source]
War Horn is not a global range passive. Keep this in mind when placing Avalon around your units. If you do not see a Flame above the legion of units, those units are not receiving the War Horn buff.
Archer Mastery[edit | edit source]
This Aura only buffs Bronze, Silver and Gold Archers available to the human race. If you invest a lot of points into Summon archer it doesn't hurt to get one or two levels of this skill even while not playing Human.
Ardent Aura[edit | edit source]
This Aura only works with Humanoid units, but this does not mean it is limited to Human (the race) units. This Aura also buffs any unit classified as Humanoid, such as Dwarfs.
Natural Leader[edit | edit source]
This ability allows Avalon to field 3 total legions of units instead of the normal 2. This is great for free to play players as it will allow you to field a stronger army with the given 6 free heroes.
